De laatste tijd heb ik een obsessie voor geometrische vormen. Ik had nog een klokje staan, dus besloot deze een geometrische make-over te geven.
Wel een geometrische vorm, maar te saai…
De klok na heel wat uurtjes werk.
1 – Allereerst heb ik het klokje uit het houten lijstje gehaald.
2 – Daarna voorzichtig de wijzertjes eraf gepeuterd.
3 – En het echte klokje erachter vandaan gehaald.
4 – Het klokje opgemeten om te weten hoe groot mijn klokvorm minimaal moest zijn.
5 – Ik besloot om uit te gaan van een 3D vijfhoek, met ongelijke zijkanten voor een asymmetrisch effect.
6 – Deze vorm eerst van papier gemaakt als proef.
7 – De definitieve vorm op karton overgetrokken.
8 – En deze uitgesneden (met plakrandjes erbij).
9 – In het midden een gaatje gemaakt voor de wijzertjes.
10 – De vorm in elkaar gelijmd.
11 – En beschilderd.
12 – Ik besloot de wijzertjes ook nog een kleurdetail gegeven.
‘S avonds laat (Flappie was al in dromenland) kwam ik erachter dat het karton van de vorm heel lelijk was geworden door de verf. Daarom besloot ik de vorm opnieuw te maken op geschikter karton, dunner met een soort coating erop. Ook besloot ik i.p.v. de witte verf, zalmroze als kleur te gebruiken.
Dit is dus het eindresultaat en ik ben blij met mijn klokje! Als je van heel dichtbij kijkt ziet het er wel handgemaakt uit, maar van een afstandje valt het gelukkig niet op!
Kan ik ook zo’n klokje bij je bestellen?! Heel vet weer!
