Het belangrijkste van dit recept is natuurlijk suikerbrood. Ik kom uit Friesland en ik ben er dus mee groot geworden. Bij mijn beppe (Fries voor oma) was het altijd vaste prik: suikerbrood en chinees. Jep, rare combinatie, I know. ;) Friezen zijn ook een beetje gek, haha.
Ik heb eigenlijk geen idee hoe goed dit brood te verkrijgen is in de rest van Nederland. Ik gok dat je gewoon bij AH kan kopen, maar misschien is dat ook wel niet zo. Laar het me weten, ik ben nieuwsgierig!
INGREDIENTEN (voor 4 personen)
– 1 suikerbrood, in plakken gesneden.
– 200 ml melk
– 1 ei
– 1 theelepel kaneel
– beetje boter
Mix het ei, de melk en het kaneel door elkaar. Kan met een garde, mag ook met een vork. Remember, het is lazy sunday. Niet te moeilijk doen dus. Duw de plakken suikerbrood een voor een kopje onder in het melkmengsel en slinger ze in een mediumhete pan met wat gesmolten boter. Wacht totdat ze mooi bruin zijn aan beide kanten.
Nouja, en dat was het! Je bent gewoon al klaar!
Nog een beetje poedersuiker erop voor het idee en smullen maar. En dat poedersuiker strooien, dat mag best een beetje ruig zoals je hierboven ziet. ;)

Dat lijkt me echt zó lekker! Vroeger at ik best vaak wentelteefjes van gewoon wit brood, mijn ouders spaarden altijd de kapjes van het brood op en daar maakten we dan wentelteefjes van. Met gewoon brood vond ik het altijd heel lekker om er eerst kaneel op te doen en dan stroop haha! Ik ben benieuwd of dat ook lekker is met suikerbrood ;)

Oeh lekker! Nooit eraan gedacht om dit te maken met suikerbrood, maar het lijkt me heerlijk! Dus ik weet wat me binnenkort te doen staat. :-)
