Vaderdagtosti met in bier gestoofde uienjam en spek.

Vorige week deelde ik al een vaderdag artikel met een ‘Daddy Cool’ mok (mijn vader heeft al laten weten dat hij er naar uitkijkt om hem in ontvangst te nemen) en vandaag heb ik een vaderdagrecept voor jullie: een stoere tosti met spek, bier en uienjam. Jum!

Alhoewel mijn vader vast wel zou kunnen genieten van een ontbijtje op bed, is het praktisch onmogelijk om dat te realiseren. Als stoere timmerman is hij namelijk altijd als eerste uit bed, óók in het weekend. Dikke kans dus dat mijn mama een kopje koffie op bed krijgt op vaderdag, hihi. Een beter idee is dus om een lekkere stevige lunch voor hem te maken!

De vaderdagtosti is vrij recht voor zijn raap, er is alleen wel wat voorwerk voor nodig. Zo moet het spek knapperig gebakken worden vóór het tussen de boterhammen kan worden gestopt én de uienjam met bier moet nog even pruttelen. Lees hier op de HEMAblog hoe je die verrukkelijke uienjam maakt en wat er nog meer tussen de tosti gaat. Ik gebruikte het toepasselijke Mannenliefde biertje, maar wat veel mensen niet weten, is dat HEMA heeft nog veel speciaalbiertjes heeft. Lekker voor in de uienjam, maar ook voor vrijdagmiddagborrels in het park of als alternatief cadeautje (speciaalbier is het nieuwe flesje wijn).

    Wat leuk! Ik ging zeggen, klinkt lekker, maar het is iets dat ik zelf eigenlijk totaal niet zou eten haha. Mijn papa daarentegen, dus dat heb je goed ingeschat ;-).     Ahhh, zo leuk, een stoere tosti! En ook nog eens lekker :). Deze ga ik onthouden. (Nadat ik ‘m voor mijn vader gemaakt heb, maak ik ‘m wellicht ook gewoon nog vaak voor mezelf, hihi). Fijn weekend!
