Ik heb kort geleden twee logo’s gemaakt voor twee hele leuke bloggers, en het leek me leuk om te laten zien hoe ze zijn geworden. De dames kenden elkaar en daarom volgde na het maken van het ene logo, al snel het andere. Het blijkt dat bloggers mijn favoriete opdrachtgevers zijn. Ze weten heel goed wat ze willen, communiceren goed, zijn geduldig en uiten hun blijdschap als de beste als hij eenmaal klaar is. Love it!
Het begon allemaal bij Des. Ik maakte een website voor Des: desdraagt.nl (bekijk hier het artikel dat ik schreef over Des haar nieuwe website). Voor wie Des niet kent: (foei!) Des is mama en Des is geweldig. Ze schrijft heerlijke en eerlijke stukjes over haar leven, haar liefdes en haar ergernissen op desschrijft.nl. En Des wilde graag een tweede website omdat ze meer wilde vertellen over het dragen van kindjes in doeken en draagcursussen geven.
Madelon kwam met haar kleine kereltje een cursus volgen bij Des. Ze zocht iemand die een nieuw logo voor haar wilde maken en Des raadde mij aan (thanks Des, you rock). Madelon nam contact met mij op en vertelde heel duidelijk wat ze wilde. Ik ging aan de slag en na een paar keer heen en weer mailen en een paar correcties, was dit het resultaat:
Madelon blogt op waymadi.nl en schrijft over eten, baby Z., ergonomisch babydragen en andere persoonlijke verhalen. Omdat het koken een heel groot onderdeel is en ze er erg goed in is, wilde ik dit benadrukken. En kat Fahad mocht van Madelon ook niet ontbreken in het plaatje. Ik, als crazy catlady kan het hier alleen maar mee eens zijn! Het font wat Madelon graag wilde gebruiken is niet helemaal mijn smaak, maar zelf was ze hier helemaal verkikkerd op en daar gaat het natuurlijk om!
Kort nadat het logo van Madelon af was, kreeg ik een emailtje van Jorien, Madelon’s bff. Ze vond het erg leuk wat ik voor Madelon had gemaakt en had besloten dat zij ook graag een nieuw logo wilde hebben voor haar blog Tres Adorable. Het was grappig om te merken hoeveel de twee op elkaar leken. Ik kreeg eenzelfde uitgebreide omschrijving van wat ze graag wilde hebben. Omdat er naar mijn mening iets teveel elementen in zaten, hebben we er een paar weggelaten, omdat het anders iets te druk zou worden. Dit is het resultaat:
Jorien blogt over beauty, haar sieradenlijn, haar geloof, eten, fotografie en mode. Ook zij is een crazy catlady en haar twee poezenbeesten moesten erbij op. Jorien is gek op de kleuren paars, roze en turqoise. En dus kregen de katjes ook een funky kleur. Ik vind ‘m zelf erg leuk geworden en Jorien gelukkig ook!

Wat een leuke logos zijn het geworden zeg! Wel een beetje ‘jammer’ dat ik nu het logo van Jorien al gezien heb terwijl haar nieuwe layout er nog niet opstaat. Is de verassing wel een beetje weg xD.
Hoi Laura, je hebt helemaal gelijk. Ik was wat te haastig en dat was een beetje dom van me. Volgende keer zal ik wat beter nadenken!
