Flying Tiger komt naar Groningen!

Woop woop! Groningen heeft straks niet één maar twee Deense woonwinkels vol met hebbedingetjes. Wat? Waar? Wanneer? Lees snel verder. ;)

Jaja, dit is een ERG leuk nieuwtje voor de koopzieke Groningers (myself included) onder ons die graag snuffelen tussen de leuke Scandinavische spulletjes!

Flying Tiger zal in het pand gaan zitten waar eerst een Douwe Egberts winkel zat. Dat staat aan de Vismarkt en dus pal in het centrum. Ik vind het een mooi pand met een fijn formaat (niet te groot, niet te klein). Ik ben benieuwd hoe het er straks uit ziet. De winkel gaat eind januari open, dat is al ontzettend snel!

Ik ben eerder in Flying Tiger winkels in Amsterdam, Nijmegen en London geweest en naast supervrolijke sokjes heb ik er toffe nic-nacs voor in huis gewinkeld. En hoewel het weer een winkel is uit Denemarken met leuke en betaalbare producten, hebben ze toch andere spullen dan Sostrene Grene. Her en der is er wel een raakvlak, maar Flying Tiger is wat speelser en kleuriger, terwijl Sostrene Grene wat rustiger is.

Toen ik hoorde dat Flying Tiger naar Groningen kwam, heb ik direct de website doorgesnuffeld en de leukste dingetjes bij elkaar gescharreld. Volgens mij verkopen ze veel meer dingen dan dat er op de website staat, maar dit is genoeg om alvast in de stemming te komen:

Dat koperkleurige lampje ziet er ontzettend tof uit en het driehoekjes-fleecedekentje staat ook op mijn wishlist. Jaren geleden kocht ik in Nijmegen mijn cassettebandje-telefoonhoesje en kijk! Ze hebben hem nog steeds! En ik ook, ik ben zo’n figuur dat maar één telefoonhoesje heeft (ik heb weer andere verzamel problemen). Ik vind hem superfijn omdat hij van rubber is en ik hem daarom nooit laat vallen of per ongeluk van tafel stoot. Aanradertje hoor.

    Oh yeah! Flying Tiger is zó leuk. =) In Nijmegen zit er ook één. Ik wist niet, tot afgelopen zomer of zo. Sindsdien ben ik er al een aantal keer geweest en ik heb er ook al spul gehaald. Onder andere snorrenstempels. En stempels met kerstdingetjes. Waarvan er één stempel ontbrak aan de onderkant. -.-‘ Dat was dan wel minder, zeker aangezien het niet meer geruild kon worden. “Ja, die zijn voor kerst en worden niet meer geleverd.” Doh. Maar ach, ik heb ze dan toch maar gehouden. Want ook al kost het even 3 euro, het zijn wel superleuke dingetjes!

    OH EINDELIJK. Iedereen heeft het altijd over Flying Tiger, maar ik kende het dus niet. Ontzettend leuke website hebben ze ook met super leuke spulletjes. Eindelijk komt er een Flying Tiger in de buurt, leuk nieuws.
