Woooohooooo! Het is officieel zomerrrrrr! Juli is de eerste maand die volledig in het zomer seizoen zit en daarom is de maandplanner superzomers met vrolijke zonnebrillen en een touch of nineties revival (altijd een goed idee wat mij betreft).

De maandplanner voor juli staat vol zonnebrillen met madeliefjes én los ronddwarrelende madeliefjes. Als je hier geen zomer vibes van krijgt, dan weet ik het ook niet meer!

Qua feestdagen is het een lekker rustig maandje, tijd om dus zomerse plannen te maken en veel tripjes naar het park te maken. In juli ga ik een weekendje naar Flevoland, is mijn mama jarig én gaan Tom en ik een weekje naar Brighton en Cambridge. Een maand vol plezier!

    Geniet van jullie tripjes! Het wordt volgende week dansen in de zon of in een modderpoel op Rock Werchter voor ons, allebei leuk, maar in de zon is wel wat relaxter ;-)

        Die regenlaarzen (mét stippen!) staan al klaar. Stiekem vind ik het ook heel leuk om ze aan te trekken als het droog is, haha.

    Als Stadjer in Cambridge kan ik het niet laten om wat tips te geven:) Om het echte Cambridge-gevoel te krijgen is een bezoekje aan de beroemde colleges natuurlijk niet te missen. Tijdens de zomer zijn sommige helaas dicht, dit kun je meestal zien op hun website. Bij sommige colleges kun je gewoon het terrein opwandelen, bij andere moet je entree betalen.
    Mijn favoriete colleges waar je voor moet betalen:
    St John’s: met stip op nummer 1. Een van de grootste colleges van de stad. Met een enorm mooie tuin, kapel en de beroemde Bridge of Sighs. Hier zijn ook veel scènes van de Theory of Everything opgenomen.
    King’s Colleges: hét bekendste gebouw in Cambridge.

    Mijn favoriete colleges die gratis te bezoeken zijn:
    Magdalene College (met eekhoorns in de tuin!)
    Sidney Sussex
    Emmanuel College
    Gonville & Caius
    Christ’s College
    Corpus Christi
