Deze week weer eens een Hidden Treasure hoe ie oorspronkelijk bedoeld was. Een gepimpte aankoop uit de kringloopwinkel!
Voor 90 cent kocht ik 3 geometrische fotolijstjes. In eerste instantie liep ik eraan voorbij, omdat de kleur rood erg goedkoop leek. Maar toen bedacht ik me dat met een likje verf, het best wel toffe lijstjes zouden kunnen worden!
Even een vraagje tussendoor: Waarom moeten kringloopwinkel medewerkers altijd prijsjes middenop het glas plakken, die allemaal plakresten achterlaten?! Het verwijderen van de sticker kostte me 2 keer zoveel tijd als de rest van de Hidden Treasure…Maar goed, de sticker resten kreeg ik er uiteindelijk dus af.
Het lijstje zelf was van plastic, dus ik besloot i.p.v. acrylverf, nagellak te gebruiken om van het lelijke rood af te komen. Voor de ene koos ik een grijsblauwe kleur.
Om het helemaal dekkend te krijgen moest ik 2 laagjes nagellak aanbrengen.
Het andere lijstje lakte ik met een brons kleur.
Beide liet ik een half uurtje drogen. Nagellak is zeer geschikt om te gebruiken op iets als een fotolijstje, omdat het gewoon aan de muur hangt is de kans op beschadigen zeer klein.
Ik ben erg blij met mijn lijstjes! De kleuren staan goed bij elkaar en het is weer eens wat anders dan rechthoekige fotolijstjes.
Tof, ziet er leuk uit :) Wat een andere kleur wel niet kan doen!
