Volgens mij was één van de grootste transformaties die mijn werkkamer heeft doorgemaakt de nieuwe naam. Ik noemde mijn werkkamer opeens party office en zo hee, dat klinkt anders! Een feestje om in te werken! Ik had grootste plannen maar door veel plotselinge deadlines en slecht nieuws binnen mijn familie moest ik die even uitstellen. Maar toch heb ik niet stil gezeten. Tijd voor een update dus!
Dit zie je als je vanaf de deuropening mijn party office inkijkt. Er hangen vlaggetjes van Kitsch Kitchen aan het plafond (het is niet moeilijk, maar voor een paar tips, lees dit artikel) en boven mijn printer en CD-speler een groeiende pompom verzameling. Ik heb inmiddels een nieuwe (roze!!!) bureaustoel en de kapotte stoel die je daar in een hoek ziet staan is het nieuwe favoriete plekje van Mo de kat geworden en ik kon het dus nog even niet over mijn hart verkijgen om hem door het grofvuil op te laten halen. Maar dat gaat nog wel gebeuren hoor, haha. Ook liggen er nog twee extra Billy planken en een nieuwe lamp klaar.
Ik haalde mijn oude kaartenrekje uit de berging en stopte er mooie kaarten van Ingrid en Gemma Correll in. En natuurlijk alle lieve kaartjes die mee worden gestuurd met perspakketjes. ^_^
Ik deed een paar nostalgische oude kastjes weg om ruimte te maken voor praktische kastruimte. Op dit stukje muur wil ik graag een stuk pegboard met haakjes bevestigen. Als ik mijn webshop uit ga breiden, kan ik ook producten ophangen, net een echt winkeltje. In de houten kratjes rechts stop ik dingen waar ik nog een blogartikel over wil schrijven. Bijvoorbeeld een review of spulletjes die ik nodig heb voor een DIY die nog op de planning staat. De halve Billy’s van IKEA hebben niet heel veel charme van zichzelf (de meest linkse staat zelfs een beetje scheef door een aflopende vloer, oude huizen, zucht) maar je kan er wel veel leuke opbergbakjes met charme instoppen.
Zoals een set dozen (wederom van Kitsch Kitchen) met gekleurde driehoekjes erop. En vrolijke weckpotten met tape en linten erin.
En overal zit een labeltje op, hihi. Zo hoef ik niet alle lades/dozen open te trekken om erachter te komen wat erin zit.
En bovenop de kasten heb ik ruimte om leuke kantoorspulletjes neer te zetten. Ook deze puntenslijperset kreeg ik van Kitsch Kitchen voor in mijn party office. Mooi stel niet?
Helemaal rechts staat een kast die qua kleur een beetje uit de toon valt, maar hij was nog in prima staat en paste prima naast de Billy’s. Hij komt nog uit Tom’s oude studentenkamer. Hier staan al mijn boeken in, wat kantoorspulletjes (de enorme plakbandhouder maakte mijn moeder ooit voor me, lang voordat Team Confetti bestond, alsof ze in de toekomst kon kijken, haha). De boekensteun die al mijn serieuze bedrijf-mappen overeind houdt, is een kringloopvondst. Ik ga er ooit nog een unicorn van maken, want daar vraagt ie om. ;)
Roze bureaustoel, yay! Kon niet ontbreken in deze kleurrijke bende natuurlijk. In de vensterbank naast Dikkie Dik is een plekje voor Tetkees waar hij kan slapen en uit het raam kan kijken. En jaja, ik heb TWEE bureaus. De linker heb ik ooit van mijn ouders gekregen toen ik voor het eerst uit huis ging. Ik wilde eigenlijk dezelfde bij IKEA halen. Ze hadden het model nog wel, maar niet meer dezelfde kleur. Ach, dacht ik, maar dan is ie in ieder geval dezelfde hoogte en diepte. Diepte ding goed, maar zoals je ziet is de hoogte toch een beetje verschillend. Dat gecombineerd met een aflopende vloer zorgt voor een flink verschil, meh! Dus ga ik hem nog wat verhogen door er wat kurken onderzetters of iets dergelijks onder te stoppen.
Nog één keer de slingers in volle glorie. De plastic kroonluchter wordt me iets te hectisch tussen al die slingers in, dus die wordt vervangen door de lamp die op de grond staat te wachten. Ik ben benieuwd hoe dat gaat staan, eh, hangen…
Zoals je ziet, er is een hoop leuks gebeurd in mijn party office, maar er staan nog meer leuke veranderingen op de planning. Het klussen in huis stond even stil door alle hectiek, maar ik veracht dat we in mei weer lekker bezig kunnen. Dus hopelijk komt update numero dos van mijn party office er snel aan. ;)
