In de rubriek IK ZOEK BAAS zet ik om de maand tien (of meer) asieldieren in het zonnetje die op zoek zijn naar een nieuw baasje. Deze keer o.a. een verliefd kattenstel, een heel klein hondje en een knuffelige kat.
Simon uit Amersfoort.
In de eerste zes jaar van zijn leven heeft Simon maar weinig van de wereld gezien. Hij was altijd alleen met zijn baasje en was weinig tot geen contact met anderen gewend. Toen het baasje van Simon overleed, begon er voor hem een groot avontuur. Simon vindt veel dingen erg spannend en ligt daarom graag verstopt in zijn mandje. Wanneer je hem aanlijnt loopt hij braaf met je mee aan de riem. Voor Simon is het erg belangrijk dat hij in een huis terechtkomt waar hij alle tijd krijgt om tot rust te komen en vertrouwen te krijgen in zijn nieuwe eigenaar.

Lieve Mia is pas twee jaartjes jong en helemaal klaar voor een nieuw avontuur! Ze is dol op aandacht en maakt graag een babbeltje met je. Oppakken vindt ze prima en ze is ook wel te porren voor een leuk spelletje. Mia is samen met Johnny in de opvang gekomen en ze hebben een nogal passionele relatie. Het liefst worden ze samen geplaatst omdat ze waarschijnlijk altijd samen zijn geweest.

Johnny is een rustige, lieve jongen. Aandacht vindt hij heerlijk en oppakken vindt hij ook geen probleem. Met zijn zwart-wit gevlekte vacht en bolle kopje maakt hij een heerlijk, gezellige indruk. Johnny is samen met Mia in de opvang gekomen en dus worden ze het liefst samen geplaatst.

Larry is een hond die veel wil leren en zeker nog móét leren. Hij is erg actief en geen hond om uren alleen te laten. Hij is dan ook onvermoeibaar! Voor kleine kinderen is Larry te bewegelijk, grotere kinderen daarentegen zou hij geweldig vinden om mee te spelen. Daarnaast is Larry gek op zijn soortgenoten. Hij begrijpt de taal van de honden heel goed en kan goed met zijn soortgenoten overweg.

Truus en Anita zijn samen binnengekomen nadat zij in een transportmandje in een park gevonden zijn. Deze leuke dames zijn op zoek naar een plekje met een grote, hoge, ruime kooi waar zij lekker kunnen klimmen, klauteren, eten en slapen.

Abe is een prachtige maar zeer schuwe Port-Lincolnparkiet. Voor hem wordt gezocht naar een kenner die een plekje over heeft in zijn/haar volière. Vanwege zijn schuwe gedrag is een ruime huisvesting wenselijk.

Japie uit Rotterdam.
Deze gespikkelde beer heet Japie en is acht jaar oud. Er is afstand van hem gedaan omdat de eigenaar niet meer voor de hond kon zorgen. Het is een lieve, sociale hond naar mensen. Een echte allemansvriend. Naar soortgenoten is hij wisselend, de één is zijn beste vriend de ander vindt hij helemaal niets. Wel moet er rekening gehouden worden met Japie’s doofheid (zoals veel dalmatiërs). Hij kan er prima mee omgaan, maar het terug roepen is wat lastiger. Dan moet je echt contact met hem zoeken.

Flip uit Dordrecht.
Flip is een lekker eigenzinnige poes van bijna drie. Ze kroelt graag, maar wel op haar tijd. Als het niet naar haar zin gaat, heeft zij de neiging uit te halen of te bijten. Daarom wordt ze niet bij kleine kinderen geplaatst. Flip gaat erg graag naar buiten en is nog lekker speels.

Davy uit Rijswijk.
Davy is één van de konijntjes die door de dierenambulance Den Haag in verschrikkelijke toestand werd aangetroffen op de Vredenburgweg in Den Haag. Ze zaten met z’n twaalven in een kartonnen doos, in een vuilniszak. Ze hadden elkaar vreselijk verwond en hadden zichzelf deels uit hun nare positie bevrijd door de doos open te knagen. Inmiddels zijn we een paar weken verder en gaat het al stukken beter met het twaalftal. Ze zijn klaar voor een nieuwe start. Davy heeft een goed karakter en is het meest bijdehand. Davy is waarschijnlijk het meest geschikt voor in een tuin, waar hij samen met zijn nieuwe vriendin de bloemen kan buiten zetten.
