In de rubriek IK ZOEK BAAS zetten we elke week drie asieldieren in het zonnetje. Wel te verstaan 1 hond, 1 kat en 1 klein (knaag)dier. Deze lieve dieren verdienen een nieuw baasje, dus een beetje extra aandacht kan geen kwaad.
Deze week hebben we twee leuke dieren uit Stichting Kerbert Dierentehuis in IJmuiden in het zonnetje gezet. En omdat ze daar geen knaagdieren hebben, komt het knaagdier van deze week uit Knaagdierencentrum Heiloo.
Buddha, een Mechelse Herder, is een prachtige brede gecastreerde reu van twee jaar. Hij is naar het asiel gebracht omdat er niet genoeg tijd voor hem was. Hij heeft twee cursussen gehad, maar is het allemaal even kwijt waardoor hij erg trekt en achter alles aan jaagt.
Buddha heeft een baas nodig met ervaring, die hem met zachte hand en consequent leert dat hij niet achter fietsers, joggers e.d. aan mag jagen.

Ceasar is een gecastreerde kater van 5 jaar. Hij kan in een gezin met kinderen en heeft weinig problemen met andere katten, maar aan honden is hij niet gewend. Ceasar is een aanhankelijke kater die graag een knuffel komt halen. Hij wil wel af en toe naar buiten kunnen, maar het liefst in een afgesloten tuin, omdat hij de weg terug vaak niet kan vinden.

Aagje is net weer terug in het knaagdierencentrum. De nieuwe eigenaren vonden haar een geweldig, lief en leuk konijn. Overdag ging het samen met het andere konijn erg goed. Maar als ze voor de nacht in een binnenverblijf moesten vertoeven dan was het niet meer zo gezellig tussen de twee. Ze zoekt nu een nieuwe vriend die lekker de ruimte heeft en samen met haar weer mag gaan rennen. Aagje is anderhalf jaar oud.
