Kersttip: gingerbread latte + free printable!

Ik weet het, bezig zijn met kerst voordat de Sint het land uit is, is vloeken in de spreekwoordelijke kerk. Maar ach, er zijn al drie kerstcollecties voorbijgekomen hier op teamconfetti.nl en ik ben zelf al twee keer door de kerstafdeling van Tuinland gelopen. So that ship has sailed! Ook weten jullie vast nog wel dat ik een innige liefdesrelatie met mijn nieuwe koffiezetapparaat heb ontwikkeld en dus vond ik het hoog tijd voor een kopje koffie waarmee je meteen in kerstsferen komt: een gingerbread latte!gingerbreadlatte 2

Voor dit artikel werkte ik samen met radbag.nl, een website vol onweerstaanbare cadeautjes, gadgets en accessoires. Zij zijn heel eigenwijs nu al aan het aftellen naar kerst en plaatsen elke dag een knettergoeie kersttip op hun eigen blog. Ze vroegen mij om ook mee te doen aan hun ‘Be the Champion of Christmas’ kerstcampagne en ook een goede kersttip te bedenken. And so I did! Hieronder vind je het recept voor een heerlijke kruidige gingerbread latte, een free printable om je kopje kerstkoffie helemaal mee af te maken en een mini christmas-gift-guide. ^_^

♥ GINGERBREAD LATTE ♥

Ingrediënten voor één gingerbread latte:
1 kopje koffie (ik zette een espresso)
1/2 cup melk
2 theelepels bruine basterdsuiker (of andere zoetigheid)
1/4 theelepel vanille
Een kruidenmix die bestaat uit:
1/4 theelepel gember
1/2 theelepel kaneel
1/4 theelepel nootmuskaat
1/4 theelepel kruidnagel

Een gingerbread (oftewel, gemberkoek) latte is een kruidige koffie met veel schuimige melk die smaakt naar koekjes. Hij ruikt heerlijk kerstig en het gembermannetje on top maakt het helemaal af. ^_^

We beginnen met het maken van de kruidenmix. En die spreekt voor zich. Meng alle droge kruiden door elkaar in een klein schaaltje. Dit mengsel is genoeg voor een paar kopjes koffie, afhankelijk van hoe kruidig je je koffie wil.

Zet een kopje koffie en meng de vanille en de suiker erdoorheen. Doe de melk in een melkschuimer of klop het op je eigen manier op.

Roer een halve, een hele of een enorme schep van het kruidenmengsel door je koffie heen. Ik houd wel van kruidig en deed een hele theelepel kruiden door mijn koffie. Even roeren. Vervolgens spatel je (ja echt) het melkschuim op je koffie zodat het mooi vlak wordt. En dan is het tijd voor deze badboy:

Speciaal voor dit recept maakte ik een free printable! Knip de cirkel met het flapje uit en snij vervolgens het gembermannetje uit de cirkel. Houd de cirkel vlak boven je koffie en ‘sprinkle’ een beetje van het kruidenmengsel (of gewoon een beetje kaneel) over de opening. Dit is het resultaat:

Helemaal profi toch? Kan geen Starbucks tegenop!

Maar weet je wat deze koffie nog beter zou maken? Een te gek kopje. En heel toevallig heeft radbag.nl een heleboel grappige, nerdige en speciale kopjes. Leuk voor jezelf, maar ook heel geschikt om straks met kerst (of vooruit, Sinterklaas) weg te geven. Check de mini gift guide hieronder:

Leuk nog om te weten: het kopje met Darth Vader erop (Star Wars fans, can I hear a woop woop?) roert zichzelf! Met een knopje op de hendel kun je de inhoud van je kopje roeren. En de hot cookie van #4 kun je inpluggen in je computer en je kopje koffie wordt nooit meer koud! Maar ditzelfde geldt natuurlijk voor de o zo toepasselijke mok met kersttrui aan van #2. Ach, ze zijn allemaal leuk. ^_^

  5. Wat ontzettend leuk, de gingerbreadman bovenop maakt het wel echt af! Ik ben zelf geen koffiedrinker, maar ga dit zeker eens proberen icm een kop warme melk, mjam!
