Oh het is zo glamourous! Slepen met tassenvol woonaccessoires, duizend foto’s maken van een kaars en een classy poster maken van een rookworst, ik doe het ALLEMAAL. En nu is het tijd om te laten zien wat het heeft opgeleverd. Kijk je mee naar mijn maaksels ontwerpen voor HEMA?
Mijn design opdrachten voor de HEMA social media kanalen stonden in het kader van de HEMA woonweken. Twee weken lang waren er aanbiedingen, een nieuwe collectie én mijn maaksels natuurlijk. Ik maakte drie stop motion filmpjes/gifjes en drie mini posters die je kunt downloaden op de HEMA blog. En die zagen er zo uit:
HEMA HELDEN MINI POSTERS
O, dit vond ik zó’n leuk idee en het lag ook helemaal in mijn straatje. Ik kreeg de opdracht om drie posters te ontwerpen met in de hoofdrol drie HEMA helden: de rookworst, de tompoes en de stroopwafel. Voor de tompoes kreeg ik een voorbeeld en de andere twee mocht ik er zelf bij verzinnen, als ik maar rekening hield met de kleuren van de nieuwe wooncollectie. Het resultaat is simpel, maar heeft humor en ik vind ze echt héél tof geworden. Je kunt ze allemaal downloaden (klik hier), printen en inlijsten/ophangen of neerzetten in je huis. Te gek toch?
HEMA STOP MOTION FEST
Zo allemaal onder elkaar zien ze er een beetje hysterisch uit (ze zijn bedoeld voor instagram) maar los zijn ze simpel en vrolijk. Het gekke dansje dat de kaarsen doen, had van mij iets soepeler gemogen, maar bij HEMA vonden ze hem super dus wie ben ik dan om te klagen? Ik had hele leuke props om mee te werken (de gouden schaar, de cactus kaarsen en het gele dekentje met stippen zijn mijn favorieten uit de nieuwe collectie) maar ik was wel een beetje nerveus toen ik begon met fotograferen. In mijn studententijd heb ik veel lol gehad met video en animatie, maar ik was een beetje roestig en HEMA is mijn lievelingsopdrachtgever die ik écht niet teleur wilde stellen. Maar zoals Gretchen Rubin zo mooi kan zeggen: ‘If people trust you to do the job, you can probably do it’. En dat was ook zo.
HEMA 90 STOP MOTION EXTRAVAGANZA
Het stop motion feestje was na de drie woon-animaties nog niet afgelopen, ik mocht meteen door animeren voor de 90e verjaardag van HEMA, wat een eer! Wat ik daarvoor maakte, bewaar ik voor een andere keer. Het enige wat ik kan zeggen is confetti, véél confetti!
