Tom and I recreated the Club Sandwich we ate at De Uurwerker.
Sinds Tom en ik bij De Uurwerker een Club Sandwich aten, was hij niet meer uit ons hoofd weg te slaan. Toen kwamen we op het lumineuze idee om hem thuis na te maken. En dat is gelukt!
Zo zag de Club Sandwich van de Uurwerker eruit. We hebben hem nagemaakt op de ham na, drie soorten vlees op een broodje ging ons iets te ver, haha.
En dit is onze versie, bijna net zo lekker!
Dit zit er tussen (van onder naar boven):
The ingrediënts from bottom to top:
– Geroosterde witte boterham met mayonaise en veel peper. Toast with mayo and pepper.
– Sla. Lettuce.
– Plakje kaas. Slice of cheese.
– Gerookte kipfilet. Smoked chicken.
– Tomaat. Tomato.
– Geroosterde witte boterham met mayonaise en veel peper. Toast with mayo and pepper.
– Gekookt eitje. Boiled egg.
– Bacon.
– Geroosterde witte boterham met mayonaise en veel peper, ondersteboven, zodat de mayo onderop zit. Toast with mayo and pepper.
Ik krijg alweer honger als ik eraan denk! Het is een ontzettend lekker broodje, leuk om samen (‘Kook jij de eieren, dan smeer ik de boterhammen.’) te maken en op een (zondag)middag op te peuzelen.
