26 juli – Dichters in de Prinsentuin is één van de populairste poëziefestivals van Nederland. Bijzonder is dat bijna het hele programma zich in de open lucht afspeelt. Festival Hongerige Wolf / Locatie: Hongerige Wolf
26 t/m 28 juli – Drie dagen lang kunst en cultuur, diep in Groningen. Dat is Festival Hongerige Wolf. Voor het derde jaar op een rij zal onontdekt talent zich laten zien in het dorp met de mooiste naam van Nederland. Verwacht nieuwe tentoonstellingen op het gebied van theater, dans, bands, singer-songwriters, dj’s, beeldende kunst, literatuur, poëzie, film en fotografie.
Alle optredens zijn in de straten van Hongerige Wolf. In de velden, op de dijken maar ook in de woonkamers, tuinen, schuren en stallen van bewoners. Logeren kan op de camping die speciaal voor het festival in een weiland wordt opgebouwd. Slapen bij een dorpsbewoner thuis kan ook.

27 juli – Concert initiators en kunstenaarscollectief OWSUM bestaat 5 jaar. Reden om dit uitbundig te vieren met een toffe line-up aan dj’s en de gebruikelijke hippe aankleding.
