In The Edge of Seventeen krijgt de hoofdpersoon te maken met alles wat er bij puberteit komt kijken. Maar het wordt pas echt erg als haar beste vriendin een relatie krijgt met haar oudere broer. Toen ik de trailer voor de eerste keer zag, deed de sfeer me een beetje denken aan Easy A en The DUFF en als deze half zo goed is dan ben ik om.

Ik kan gerust het ene moment een drie uur durende documentaire over Mongoolse keelzangers kijken en het andere moment genieten van een actie film van Luc Besson. Een metropool waar verschillende soorten inwoners uit het hele heelal hun talenten en technologie hebben gekoppeld voor de beste leefomstandigheden.

We blijven nog even in de ruimte en dit keer met dreamteam Chris Pratt en Jennifer Lawrence. Op een routinereis door de ruimte naar een verre kolonie, worden twee passagiers door een storing 90 jaar te vroeg ontwaakt uit hun hyperslaap. Zoals je in de trailer ziet is dat niet voor niks… Dramahaah.

Over een koppel wiens relatie onder druk komt te staan wanneer hun succes hen ook geleidelijk uit elkaar drijft. Eigenlijk ben ik niet zo een fan van musicals, maar als Ryan Gosling en Emma Stone er met eentje komen, dan ga ik die natuurlijk wel kijken. We zagen ze al eerder samen in Crazy Stupid Love, als ze een klein beetje van díé chemie hebben meegenomen dan moet het helemaal goedkomen.

In de film speelt Scarlett Johansson een hybride cyborg die leiding geeft aan een politie-eenheid die de meest gevaarlijke criminelen en extremisten uitschakelen. Maar dan komt ze zelf in gevaar nadat iemand het heeft gemunt op cybertechnologie en deze probeert te vernietigen. Nog eentje die gebaseerd is op een comic – of manga in dit geval – en ik ben zooooooo benieuwd hoe sommige scenes eruit komen te zien.

We zagen haar al voorbijkomen in Superman vs Batman, maar Wonder Woman komt volgend jaar met haar een eigen film. Voordat ze Wonder Woman was, was ze Diana, prinses van de Amazones, opgeleid tot een onoverwinnelijke krijger. Als op een dag een Amerikaanse pilot op haar paradijselijk eiland crasht en haar vertelt over een conflict in de buitenwereld, verlaat Diana haar eiland en is ze ervan overtuigd dat ze het allemaal kan tegenhouden voor het uit de hand loopt.
De eerste teaser trailer vond ik maar niks, maar ik moet zeggen dat ik na het zien van deze wel onder de indruk ben en nu heel benieuwd ben welke kant ze met haar op gaan.

Maar zoals je kan zien, gaat dat niet helemaal goed. Of ze het gaan halen? Nog even tot mei 2017 wachten…
