Tuurlijk; de dozen zijn uitgepakt, de meubels staan op hun definitieve plaats en (sinds vorige week) hangen ook de lampen overal. Maar je weet hoe dat gaat met een huis; het is nooit écht af. Er staan wat leuke accessoires hier en daar, maar de muren zijn nog wat kaal. Ik wilde weleens zien wat er zou gebeuren als ik er een statement wall van zou maken. Hoe? Nou, met photoshop en fotobehang! Kijken jullie mee?
Laten we eerst even kijken naar hoe het er nu uitziet. Dat is dus zoals je hierboven ziet. Leuk kastje, leuke styling, maar nog niet echt iets om van achterover te slaan. Maar dat komt nog!
OPTIE #1 GRAFISCH PATROON
Als je mij en mijn werk een beetje kent, dan weet je dat ik wel in ben voor een leuk patroon. Een beetje kleur fleurt een kamer al snel op en ik vind dit behang vrolijk en veelzijdig. Doordat het ontwerp maar een paar accentkleuren heeft en verder vrij neutraal is, is het ook makkelijk te combineren met (nieuwe) accessoires, zonder dat je meteen heel je interieur moet veranderen omdat er niets meer bij je behang past.
OPTIE #2 INDUSTRIEEL
Voordat we dit huis betrokken, hebben John en ik gekeken om een loft te kopen in een oude fabriek. Dat ging helaas niet door en nu wonen we in een iets minder avontuurlijk rijtjeshuis. Niks mis mee, maar die oude fabriek had een aantal heel mooie oude muren die intact gelaten zouden worden. Dat soort muren vind je meestal niet in een rijtjeshuis, maar ook daar is een oplossing voor zoals je ziet. Doordat er niet teveel kleur in deze afbeelding zit, past hij al gauw bij de rest van je interieur en kun je met accessoires nog alle kanten op.
OPTIE #3 CRAZY CAT LADY
Tja, need I say more? Toen ik dit design in de webshop zag, was ik meteen verkocht. Misschien is dit niet de meest ‘veilige’ optie, maar kijk die koppies! Hipsterkatten in awesome kleuren op je muur; wie wil dat nou niet? Als je de rest van je interieur een beetje neutraal houdt, kan een muur als deze echt het spreekwoordelijke ‘wow-effect’ hebben. Wie durft?

Ik vind de betonmuur het mooist, maar mij lijkt het net jammer dat dat dan nep is. Wij gaan in de douche de muren behandelen met een soort van epoxy die betonlook heeft. Zo hebben we geen tegels (en voegen) nodig, maar heb je wel de look & feel van beton. Je kan daarmee trouwens ook een hele dunne laag leggen, het is maar een idee. :-)
Ik vind de bovenste echt heel cool, maar ik zou zo iemand zijn die dat dan na 6 maanden weer zat is en dan weer nieuw behang wil. De middelste is dan de veiligste optie denk ik;-).
Ik vind die twee zelf ook het leukste en best toepasbare (sorry, katten), maar het blijft leuk om digitaal uit te proberen wat het met een muur/ruimte doet.
Stiekem vind ik dat best mooi! <3 Maar ik zou het niet zo snel niet doen. hihi

Ja, inderdaad een fijn gegeven dat je bij die optie als je eens wat anders wilt niet heel je interieur meteen een make-over moet geven, maar al een heel eind komt met alleen wat andere accessoires!
Die katten! Heeeeel tof! Maarrrr ik zou er niet voor kiezen… Denk dat het toch gaat vervelen ofzo? Of te druk is… Ach, ik ben een bange schijterd met dat soort dingen. Ik zou voor de tweede gaan denk ik… Het is niet saai, maar wel rustig. En dat is wel heeel fijn. :)
De betonlook natuurlijk! Tijdloos en een mooie neutrale basis, zodat je met accessoires en meubels nog alle kanten op kan. :)
Mijn adblocker blokkeerde de foto’s eerst en toen zou ik ‘katten’ gezegd hebben, maar toen ik de afbeeldingen zag… ik ga voor grafisch!
Zelf hebben wij een schilderij uit het Rijksmuseum laten drukken op fotobehang, ook super gaaf! Maar die katten zijn ook erg leuk :D

In vind de grafische print de beste optie! Die is net zo leuk als het beton, maar ik denk dat het beton mode-gevoeliger is dan de grafische print. Dus langer mooi.
