Afgelopen week shopten we prachtige dingen voor onze nieuwe eethoek, hingen Tom en ik de fotomodellen uit voor een groot Nederlands warenhuis en schreeuwde ik iets te hard in de Tuinland (oepsie).
Vorige week hebben we flink wat meters gemaakt in onze eethoek. De stoelen en de kast zijn klaar, alle overbodige troepjes weggemieterd en weggegeven en dus was het tijd om te gaan winkelen..! Ik deed vorige week vrijdagmiddag een rondje door de stad, sleepte IKEA cactusjes mee in mijn tas (en die hebben dat overleefd, woehoe) en vond de perfecte kussenhoesjes voor onze eetkamerstoelen. Ik pufte even uit bij de thee afdeling van Dille en Kamille en na drie minuten kwamen er al klanten bij me met vragen omdat ze dachten dat ik er werkte, hihi.
Na de shopsessie ging ik meteen door naar Pernikkel (geen week compleet zonder een maaltje bij Pernikkel) om de vrijdag te vieren met Tom. Heerlijk gegeten, een heeeeel erg goed begin van het weekend. :)
Zaterdag liep ik een rondje door de stad met een groepje bloggers en bezochten we een hele hoop woonwinkels in Groningen. Erg gezellig en het leverde een mooi artikel op (al zeg ik het zelf). Vooral het vastleggen van de fijne winkel Koko Toko stond al heel erg lang op mijn to do lijstje. Daar moet je echt even langsgaan als je in Groningen bent (hoe TOF is dat T-shirt?!).
Ook de gehaakte cactusjes bij Groening deden mijn hart sneller slaan. Ze zijn een beetje aan de prijzige kant (helemaal terecht natuurlijk, wat een hels karwei om te maken) en dus heb ik me voorgenomen om (als ik klaar ben met mutsjes breien) aan het haken te slaan. Al is het alleen maar om erachter te komen dat ik daar geen geduld voor heb en terug naar de winkel te racen en er gewoon eentje te kopen, haha.
Linde stuurde me een foto van haar computerscherm nadat ze een bevestiging-email van de HEMA nieuwsbrief binnenkreeg. En kijk eens wie daar bovenin staan te shinen?? Het zijn superfotomodellen Tom en Olga! De foto’s die ik voor de HEMA blog maak, mogen ook gebruikt worden voor andere online doeleinden. Officieel in overleg, maar ach, ik vond het wel een leuke verrassing. Het idee dat zo’n groot bedrijf als HEMA een foto gebruikt van een gek stel dat in hun woonkamer staat met zelfontspanner en een muur vol post-its vind ik op de een of andere manier een geweldige overwinning. Al die marketingteams van andere grote warenhuizen met hun dure fotostudio’s en stylisten en make-up artists, dat is dus blijkbaar helemaal niet nodig, hihi. Die steek ik even in mijn zak hoor, hoppakkee!
Zondag ging het grote shopfestijn voor de eethoek door. We wilden veel gekke plantjes in de vensterbank en dus was het weer tijd voor een bezoekje aan ons favoriete tuincentrum: Tuinland. We liepen een hoekje om en uitzinnig gilde ik: ‘ze hebben de KERSTSPULLEN al!!!’ Wat een paar chagrijnige blikken opleverde van de mensen die voor ons liepen. Sorry hoor, ik word gewoon erg enthousiast van de kerstafdeling in Tuinland, de hele winkel wordt dan getransformeerd en lijkt bijna op een mini kerst pretparkje. De opbouw was nog in volle gang, maar een paar hoekjes waren al af, yay!
Nadat we onze uitsmijter ophadden (alleen met kaas want: dierendag), gingen we op zoek naar plantjes. En die plantjes moesten niet mooi zijn, maar grappig. Want ik word vrolijk van grappige plantjes en ik vind ze meer karakter hebben. Tom en ik hebben de ballen verstand van plantjes en dus moeten ze zichzelf ook een beetje kunnen redden en niet te veeleisend zijn. Hierboven zie je Alfredo in de auto en Bob (met olifant Teun) in de woonkamer staan. Grappige plant, grappige naam, niet meer dan logisch. De rest van de plantjes krijgen jullie te zien tijdens de onthulling van onze eethoek.
De rest van de week werkte ik hard aan de #TCWOONWEEK en kwam er weer een mega lading daily planners binnen. Gelukkig maar, want door al de bestellingen afgelopen tijd waren ze opperdepop. Ik heb lekker gewerkt en veel gedaan, maar ik krijg het maar niet voor elkaar om tijd vrij te maken voor de Team Confettti agenda. En dat zorgde voor constante stress in mijn achterhoofd en dat resulteerde in een zere, stijve nek (zo uit stress zich blijkbaar in mijn lichaam). En nou, dan kan ik dus helemaal niks meer. Ik probeer heel flink te ontspannen en ’s avonds en in het weekend een beetje te relaxen, maar de druk die de agenda met zich meebrengt, kan ik maar niet van me afschudden. En dus lag ik uren in bad met een heerlijke Lush bruisbal en ontspande mijn gekke nekkie een beetje. Afgelopen weekend heb ik dus niet zoveel vrije tijd gehad, maar ben ik lekker aan de slag geweest met de agenda. Zodra dat klaar is, kan ik weer een beetje relaxen, dus hoe sneller hoe beter. ;)
Wat ook goed helpt met ontspannen: mutsjes breien! Ik heb echt de smaak te pakken, zo leuk! Ik ben nu bezig met een watermeloen mutsje en hij wordt heeeeeeeel schattig!
