Ik ben gek op mooie en grappige ontwerpen, dat weten jullie heus. En daarom wilde ik vandaag iets moois laten zien dat jullie misschien nog niet kennen: StoryTiles. StoryTiles zijn kleine tegeltjes van vroeger die vaak op een subtiele en humoristische manier weer modern zijn gemaakt. Het zijn kleine schatten die je op kan hangen, sparen en koesteren. Nieuwe nostalgie zou je het kunnen noemen. Benieuwd? Ik heb een paar favorieten op een rijtje gezet en vertel wat over de makers. En er is iets met een winactie, oooooooeh. ;)

STORYTILES
Zie je? Ik zei toch dat ze leuk waren? En er zijn er nog veeeeeel meer! Vooral de grappige toevoegingen en af en toe fel kleurgebruik vind ik ontzettend origineel. De tegeltjes van 10x10cm kosten €25,- maar er zijn ook grotere formaten. En dan heb je een echt kunstwerkje in huis. ^_^

De StoryTiles zijn gemaakt en bedacht door Marga van Oers en Judith Beek. Marga is werkzaam als creative director en Judith als managing director. #Girlbosses dus! Alle tegeltjes worden in Nederland gemaakt, het is dus ook nog eens een heel lokaal product!

STORYWOOD
Naast de tegeltjes maken de dames nu ook nog hele mooie houten panelen. In dezelfde stijl als de tegeltjes, maar dan wat groter en op duurzaam hout. Ik heb ze een paar weekenden geleden bewonderd bij Loods 5 en vond ze echt prachtig.

WINACTIE TIP!
Ben je nou helemaal verliefd geworden (ik wel in ieder geval) op deze tegeltjes, dan heb ik een hele leuke tip: op de facebookpagina van Westwing worden vandaag drie (!!!) tegeltjes weggegeven (zie hierboven). Ik weet nog niet hoe laat dit precies online komt (misschien staat het er al), maar ik zou zeggen: houd het in de gaten!

En vind je de tegeltjes fantastisch, maar een beetje aan de prijzige kant? Westwing verkoopt vanaf vandaag een groot deel van de collectie met korting! Login op de website en je hebt vier dagen de tijd om gebruik te maken van deze actie. Daarna is het feest weer voorbij. Dit is trouwens elke dag het geval bij Westwing. Hele mooie (interieur) items die maar een paar dagen met korting op de site staan. Het is erg verslavend en ik kijk bijna elke dag wel even stiekem of er nog iets leuks langskomt. Het mooie gele vloerkleed in onze woonkamer komt van Westwing, dar krijg ik altijd vragen over. ^_^

    Ik heb die tegeltjes al zò vaak bewonderd! Het jongetje met de geit is zeker één van mijn favorieten, maar moeilijk kiezen is het in elk geval… Prachtig werk!

    Ik vind Westwing echt een hele mooie winkel, alleen een beetje te duur.
    Die tegels zijn ontzettend mooi, wauw!
    Ik ben dol op de natuur, dus het hertje vindt ik geweldig, maar ook die met de kinderen op de schommel <3

    Jaaa, hier ook een stukje geschreven over de tegels. Ze zijn zó tof <3. Ik wil ze allemaal! Prachtig hè, hoe het oubollige tegeltje aan de muur zo ineens prachtig geworden is.

    Ik vind ze best leuk om te zien, want ik hou van muurdecoratie, maar het zou niet meteen passen in mijn interieur. Geef mij maar speels en bijzonder kleurrijk :-)

    Geweldig zijn ze he!
    Wij hebben het tegeltje van de zwemmers in de keuken naast de muurkraan hangen <3
    Helaas was toen mijn budget op, maar als compromis heb ik een setje kaarten van de tegeltjes gekocht en die ingelijst. Net iets minder origineel dan een tegeltje, maar wel de even fantastische ontwerpen!

    Jaaa wat zijn ze toch leuk! Mijn moeder heeft er twee aan de muur, maar ik heb het bij de kaarten gehouden. Zo’n originele dingen, vind ik. En leuk dat je ons op de panelen hebt gewezen, die kende ik nog niet.
