Letterlijk een kijkje in de keuken! Het is alweer bijna twee jaar geleden dat mijn vader ons hielp de keuken te installeren, maar #unsuccesfuladults die we zijn, hebben we héél lang over afwerking gedaan. Maar inmiddels zijn alle puntjes op de i en is hij alweer een paar keer gedeclutterd. We zijn er helemaal blij mee. Het wordt dus écht tijd om hem te laten zien!
De keuken zelf is van IKEA. We hoorden om ons heen dat dat goede kwaliteit keukens waren maar niet al te duur. De opstelling van onze keuken was heel recht toe recht aan dus dat maakte het een makkelijke keuze. Behalve een afspraak maken bij IKEA om de keuken te plannen (úren hebben we met een bieper gewacht voordat we aan de beurt waren) ging het allemaal redelijk gesmeerd. Mijn vader (dankjewel timmerman pa) en een collega hebben er vijf dagen over gedaan om hem te plaatsen en Tom en ik konden helpen door de kastjes in elkaar te zetten.
We hebben gekozen voor een houten blad en wit hooglans kasten. Dat vonden we zelf heel mooi, maar het is ook iets wat veel mensen mooi vinden en dat is handig voor als we ons huis ooit willen gaan verkopen.
De grote gootsteen is één van de fijnste dingen aan onze keuken. Elke pan past erin en de blender of juicer schoonmaken is 1000 keer makkelijker geworden.
Tip voor als je van plan bent een nieuwe keuken te plaatsen: neem onderin alleen lades, geen kastjes. Dit is een enorm goede manier om je kastruimte te benutten. Plus, je hoeft niet op je knieën om iets achteruit je keukenkastje te pakken te krijgen. Door anti slip matjes in de lades valt er (bijna) nooit iets om.
Ik ben een beetje een minimalist geworden als het om keukenspullen gaat (ik heb zelfs de aardappelstamper weggedaan, tot groot verdriet van Tom). Blijkt dat je heel goed stamppot boerenkool kan maken met de deeghaken van de handmixer, ha! Waar we nog wél veel van hebben zijn keukenapparaten en kruiden. Ik wilde eigenlijk enorm graag een heel mooi kruidenrek op een plank met alle kruiden in dezelfde glazen potjes met labeltjes erop. Maar ik heb me gerealiseerd dat dat én niet praktisch én niet haalbaar is. Er komt vaak een nieuw kruidje bij en om nou elke keer weer over te gieten en labels te gaan plakken, ik zag het mezelf gewoon niet doen. En dus vulde ik twee lades met kruidenpotjes, olie, zaadjes en sojasaus. En ik ben er héél gelukkig mee.
Waar ik ook nog steeds heel gelukkig mee ben, is de diy stellingkast / extra aanrecht dat we samen met mijn vader maakten. We hadden een groot stuk aanrecht over en dat konden we mooi gebruiken om dit meubel (rechts op de foto) van te maken. Zie hier hoe we te werk gingen.
Omdat we een nieuwe blender kochten die wat makkelijker in gebruik is, hebben we de juicer tijdelijk in de kast gezet. Als je iets niet elke dag gebruikt, dan hoeft het ook niet in het zicht, is mijn nieuwe filosofie. Zo ziet het er een stuk rustiger uit en omdat onze kastjes en lades niet uitpuilen van de spullen, kunnen we overal heel makkelijk bij.

Mooie keuken hebben jullie! Ik word helemaal enthousiast als ik die lades zie en hoe jij ze hebt ingedeeld. Dat krijgen wij ook in ons nieuwe huis, kan niet wachten om ze in te delen. ;-)
Lades zijn echt de shizzle! Alvast heel veel plezier ermee! Ik heb denk ik wel vier keer de boel omgegooid voordat ik tevreden was, haha.
Wij twijfelen ook over IKEA voor onze keuken, maar wit is geen optie voor mijn vriend (zijn moeder had een witte keuken en hij vindt dat er snel goedkoop uitzien). Houten deurtjes zouden nog het beste passen binnen ons keukenconcept, maar ik vind de houten zie ze aanbieden bij IKEA niet mooi. Eén vind ik mooi op foto, maar niet in het echt. Stiekem hoop ik dat ze met mooiere kastdeurtjes komen binnenkort, maar ik verwacht dat dat naïef is van mij. Vermoedelijk gaan we voor de basis bij IKEA gaan en de deurtjes dan laten maken. Enfin, we zien wel wat het wordt, eerst moeten er nog ramen komen in die ruimte. ;-)
Dat is ook slim! Je kunt voor deurtjes ook kijken bij superfront.com. Zijn maken hele mooie frontjes, pootjes en hendels die precies op Ikea kastjes passen. Ze zijn best prijzig maar zó mooi!

Daarom ziet onze keuken (ook ikea) er bijna hetzelfde uit.
Alleen hebben wij aan de overkant geen stelling staan maar een lang ondiep (40cm) keukenblad met dichte keukenkasten eronder. Dat is onze koffie/thee corner.
Verder is de keuken nagenoeg hetzelfde (alleen andere grepen op de lades)
Ik vind jullie keuken echt heel mooi geworden! En super praktisch. Wat fijn dat je vader kon helpen ^_^ Onze keuken is door een help-mijn-vorige-bewoner-was-klusser handmatig gebouwd, er zitten zelfs geen lades in!
