Gastblog door Vera – Vandaag is niet zomaar een ‘gastblog-woensdag’. Nee, het is vandaag mijn 30ste verjaardag! En hoewel Olga eerder al schreef dat 30 worden eigenlijk no biggie is (Link naar: http://www.teamconfetti.nl/waarom-30-worden-no-big-deal-is/), vind ik het toch wel even een dingetje hoor. En vandaag wil ik niets liever dan deze mijlpaal vieren met jullie en wie jarig is…trakteert!

Toen John (mijn vriend, FYI) een aantal jaren geleden 30 werd vond hij dat nogal wat. Ik vond dat hij zich enorm aanstelde want ‘age is just a number’. Nu ik zelf 30 word denk ik daar toch net even wat anders over. Want ondanks dat de wereld echt niet stopt met draaien en het schijnt dat het leven nu pas écht begint, realiseer ik me ook dat de houdbaarheidsdatum op bepaalde dingen steeds dichterbij komt. Het wordt nu tijd om écht volwassen te worden en grote-mensen-keuzes te maken. Of ik daar zin in heb? Mwah. Nog niet echt.

Daarom schuif ik al het zware 30+gedoe vandaag lekker opzij en vier ik een (digitaal) feestje. Want ik trakteer dus op een gratis verjaardagswallpaper voor je smartphone!

Nu snap ik dat jullie natuurlijk niet allemaal ook jarig zijn vandaag (zou wat zijn, hey), maar jarig zijn/worden we uiteindelijk allemaal. En wat is er nou leuker dan de dag zelf (en de dagen ervoor en erna) vast een beetje in de stemming te komen met een visuele reminder van het heuglijke feit op je telefoon!

Ik vind mijn verjaardag altijd een mooi moment om stil te staan bij wat ik het afgelopen jaar heb gedaan en waar ik het komende jaar naartoe wil.
